In its latest State of the U.S. Cloud Channel report, The 2112 Group shares insights into the cloud market, providing vendors and their channel partners with data about cloud adoption, performance, and the strategies necessary to wring the greatest investment from cloud services.
Over the past three years, 2112, in collaboration with Ingram Micro Cloud, has surveyed more than 700 U.S.-based solution providers with cloud practices to examine how they structure and run their businesses. The research continues to enrich our baseline and inform the resources we give partners and vendors – one of which is the Cloud Altimeter diagnostic tool – to improve their cloud solution delivery.
Our research finds that almost 98% of polled partners are earning money in the cloud, with only about 10% identifying primarily as hardware/software resellers. But while the channel clearly has embraced the cloud as a transformative force, partners have much work ahead of them to scale the plateau they’ve reached and address both commoditization and competitive pressures.
Among the topics covered in 2112’s 2019 special report:
- Cloud Revenue Trends
- Cloud Motivations & Strategic Goals
- Optimizing the Cloud Portfolio
- Selecting the Right Vendors
- Investing in the Future of the Cloud
- Adopting Best Business Practices in the Cloud
