Proof of Performance
Also known as POP. Demonstration that an organization is performing according to expectations or adhering to specific standards or guidelines. To earn market development funds (MDF) from a vendor, for example, solution providers are expected to prove that the activities to be funded are indeed eligible for MDF. Proof in this case is generally in the form of documentation showing that said monies are being used for the purposes of demand generation, business development and/or marketing.
