2112 CEO Cites ‘Friction’ as Prime Obstacle for MPS
In an article posted last week by imageSource magazine, The 2112 Group’s Larry Walsh expounded on the virtues of managed print services (MPS). In a technology arena increasingly dominated by services, MPS offers yet another way for solution providers to deepen customer engagements and generate recurring revenue.
But the channel isn’t embracing MPS as avidly as it should be, according to Walsh, who says that solution providers need to tweak both their perceptions and business models to capitalize on the opportunity afforded by managed print.
“At a time when most solution provider growth is based on managed services and expanding those services within existing accounts, managed print is one of the most accessible and marketable offerings available to the channel,” wrote Walsh.
